Section 1 Assignment 1
In a small group project, I collaborated with two other students to create an image recreation system using Binary, ASCII, or Unicode characters. For this assignment, I manually drew a depiction of Snoopy next to a cup of coffee above a highway using "mock-pixel" format with ASCII characters. We established a robust framework that allowed individual students to utilize our system and recreate images. As part of the project, I demonstrated creativity and attention to detail by accurately representing the scene with ASCII characters. Our final text-based image consisted of a minimum of 60 character rows/columns along the shortest edge, showcasing our ability to transform hand-drawn concepts into visually appealing ASCII art.
