This project represented a fusion of art and technology, resulting in a dynamic, single-page website that moves past the traditional boundaries of web design. The site was crafted using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and strategically leveraged hover effects and CSS selectors to heighten user interactivity. The design showcases a hand-drawn, space-themed landscape, divided into three distinct layers to create a rich sense of depth through parallax scrolling. The top layer introduces a dark, mountainous terrain set against the backdrop of space. The middle layer transitions into a cloud-filled sky, slowly shifting into a pink hue, representing the dawn or dusk. This leads to the bottom layer that reveals a vibrant, Candyland-inspired landscape. Adding a unique touch to the immersive experience, a miniature hand-drawn airplane whimsically flies across the screen and loops back, beckoning users to engage and explore. The site was designed with varying viewport sizes in mind, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.
